Vincent is a Saibai Islander decendant, living in Seisia Community in the NPA. He continues to share the stories of his ancestors and his home through his art, dance and music.

His artwork Island Drum was recently entered to an exhibition at Gab Titui Cultural Centre and gallery on Thursday Island, where he was highly commended for his work.

The acrylic on canvas artwork utilises a modern style of painting with acrylic and water, reflecting the modern era of story telling and the link between Islander people and the Sea.

Vincent works from his Seisia home, and as a resident arts support worker at the NPA Arts Centre. Here he not only creates breathtaking cultural artefacts adn artworks depicting his rich cultural heritage, but also works with community members of the NPA to support community art.
